I agree with number1Dad about getting a small fan and velcro and putting it on XD. TULSA did one hilarious videocard mod a while back where he took a 80 or 92 mm fan and strapped it onto his video card with zip ties and apparently it worked wonders for him LOL.

Also fackk how can you get such good cable management. You should see my facking cable management. Its impossible lol

Nice cooler. Did you have to do anything to the north bridge heatsink to make it fit? I have that same motherboard (love it) and I've heard a lot of people say that they bought coolers and had to cut away the top corner of the NB HS to make it fit, and I'm in the market for one... just wondering because the Tower would be my top choice. As for your video card cooling, try velcro and a small fan.

The NB heatsink clears no problem. I did have to mod the heatsinks on the ram to get it to fit.

The cooler is nice, I like it. Rated #1 on frostytech for cooling

personally i dont think you could effectively cool two videos with only 2 80's blowing air in. not enough airflow. those low profile cards seem to run hot to begin with. Numero-uno had a good suggestion that might work. you could also try removing the plastic cover before hand so that you can push air directly onto the heat sink with the Velcro fans (MAY VOID WARRANTY. NOT SURE OF XFX POLICY and if this is considered "modding".) if you do though be sure to keep the covers so you can re-attach them in case you have to RMA. Also, i dont know what the side of your case looks like or if you have room, but cutting out a 120 fan hole right where the video cards are and putting in a 120 fan will do wonders for helping keep them cool.

it was a 120 ty! pro modded tulsa style :). i will also note though that we removed the cover/stock fan so that it was blowing right onto the cooler.

Also what are you using to monitor you temps? i dont know the max temps for 8800 but i know the 9800 could run in the 90's and still be ok. 75-80 was accepted. If you havent i would look into MSI afterburner (my first choice) or EVGA precision. both should allow you to monitor you temps, set/program your fan speed, and change the clockings to get the most from your cards

Here is my furmark score. Max temp with this setup was 58 c. Weird it only says 1 active GPU? I can clearly see both cards under load when i run the test. and the OS is f***ed up too lols i got windows 7 haha

Took you advice and added not one but two 120's. I kinda enjoyed hacking my pc literally. I got a good 20c from the fan mod so im happy. Here is a pic :)
