Need help, i have 2 GUIDs

Hi all, could do with a hand.

I recently added COD4 to my laptop, from the same disc as the one on my PC.

I found when I try to check my GUID using "/pb_myguid" in consul I get one GUID (same for all servers including F|A), however when I use "!me" on an F|A server I get a different GUID. My laptops version doesn't show my GUID using "pb_myguid" method and so I can only tell that my GUID for FA servers is the same as on my PC using "!me" method.

 

Sorry if it is so convoluted, and if you have any questions to clarify il do my best to better explain.

try /pb_myguid or /pb_plist and !me here :178.63.72.165:28932 and tell me please if both are the same. ty

That's a 1.7 server, I'm 1.6, I'll download a patch and update tonight. Is there a good place to get the update?

/pb_myguid is working, at least it is on Killhouse 24/7 1.7 where pb is enabled. is there another server where pb is enabled?

TY, it came up with 614399db using both methods on the 1.7 server. Not sure why 1.6 was different.

However I found on a non FA server it still comes up as 42e20c1a.

when you are using /pb_myguid on your localhost or on servers where pb is disabled you will get a different guid than with !me.

this should be your cd key, but i am not sure about it

 

 

anyway, for FA is the !me guid important, you can use it on all FA serves, it doesnt matter if pb is enabled or not.
