What is a maiden flight?

 

The first time an aircraft leaves the ground under its own power. 

 

Beautiful plane, is that yours? I'm jealous haha

Reallity:  Yepp--first flight is the "maiden".

She is an Eflite Carbon Z Cub with a 7 foot wingspan!
