restricting maxfps to 125...?

Try cg_crosshairpulse 1 and move your mouse a lot

 

low fps -> you get lots of spread (crosshair gets bigger)

fps higher than mouse hz -> you should (?) get less

 

My actual pc is 2 crappy to test it, but you can try and see. That is what I always heard but I don't know if it works online too or only if you /devmap

 

if it's true, it's definitely an advantage because it increases weapon accuracy
