Yep it has come to this.  Internet Addiction.

 

There are now centers for treating people for internet addiction.   I referred to this problem in another thread about addicts in treatment centers

having a harder time giving up their cell phones than their drugs.  What have we become?

What are you saying Smoke. It's not like when my modem fried that I felt like I was dying with out my net, So I turned to alcohol for comfort

Without internet, where would I get my porn?  Magazines? Preposterous!  And imagination jes' ain't cuttin' it no more.

 

For a good satire on the subject, check out the South Park episode Over Logging. Classic and hits the nail on the head. :D
