ProMod Server

I know that a lot of people have asked for this or that when it comes to servers. However, I feel that we could attract a ton of new activity to the servers if we switched one (Mixed Gametype) to a ProMod Sniper only server. I play on a PM Nuketown server about every day, and it holds 32 people at most and I have waited in line behind 15 people before just to play. So that is just my idea. It doesn't take long to download and it is a heck of a lot of fun to play. Thanks for reading.

I'd be in! It's just a bit difficult/time consuming for the person who has to set it up.

Here is my 2 cents. This has gone around for some time now, changing unused servers to custom servers. It was the same argument that I and others for the current promod server. This will get the approval from some, maybe a lot of people, but it will fizzle. In the end wasting time of higher admins to get it setup and money for server support as changes are being made. What I have learned in my time in F|A is there is no more fertile ground for recruiting then the established servers where we can get regulars to apply. Look at the apps from abner lately, all regulars who have played in the server for a long time. Same with Beginners. Those are the ones who will be loyal to F|A too, those who love the servers because it is "their" server. We are just starting to get the F|A Pro-assassins (our already established promod) server going. It has been seeing some traffic and getting randoms to join the game. Come join in some time, it has been a really good time lately. I know it seems like a good idea, hell I thought the original Promod server was a great idea, but it laid dead after about 2 months of heavy use for around 6 months and is only now starting to get going again. As will be said by others, it is better to help in our already established servers. Once those are stable and there are funds to support our already established servers, which there is not at the moment, then new expenses can be explored. Again my 2 cent, but if it came to a vote I would say -1. At least not right now.
