I came across this issue a few days ago and I want to know if it is just me or others have this issue as well.

I left my flash drive plugged into my laptop the other day. When I tried to turn my laptop on, the only thing it did was go to the Lenovo screen, disappear, and repeat. I had to force the laptop to shutdown by holding the power button. Take out the flash drive and reboot the laptop. Then it will work just fine. So is it all laptops that this happens with?

Yes if they are set to boot from USB. All computers behave in that manner. Go into bios and change the boot order.

I use a few different external drives and unplug them when I need to reboot/crash because I go through the same issue.

Nifty. I did not realize that you could do this. Very useful! ^_^

Doesn't the computer automatically boot from harddrive if there is no bootable software on the USB?

That depends on the type of BIOS.
