windows 8 issues

I can't seem to be able to play full screen. im using windows 8 64 bit 1920 X 1080.  About 3 inches on each side of the game are black ?

are you using a cfg by any chance? in my cfg there was a line which defined the resolution that wasnt correct.

if you are using a cfg, open it and change that line to the correct screen resolution.

/r_customheight 1680

 

Check for spelling and put it in console or in etconfig.cfg under ET\silent\profiles\yourgamingalias.

When you start map you should see loaded reso when you scroll a little up in console(opens with tilde, the button left of 1 and up of TAB)
