So polk audio is coming out with gaming headphones. They are working directly with microsoft studios and should have them tuned for a couple different gaming modes. Working with the sound engineers who develop the games is cool in itself, but it's polk audio, too. 

 

I think they'll be awesome. I haven't been impressed by the performance of any major gaming headphone manufacturer... period. I always opt for my other headphones.... The gaming headphones sound notsogood. Even astros.

 

What are your thoughts?

Not a fan of the names for the headphones or the way they market their specs..... but what can ya do? Marketing is marketing.

Ive had the same pair for turtlebeaches for about 3 years, used them for xbox, and now pc. I've never really tried other headsets, so i don't know any better.

They aren't bad headphones for gaming, I guess, but they aren't really hi-fi.

 

The head of engineering for turtle beach went to polk in the last year. It just got announced a little while ago.
