Moto X Factory Tour
Motorola is really playing up the fact that its new Moto X hero phone is assembled right here in the United States. And why wouldn't it? The Moto X costs almost twice as much to assemble as smartphones put together in China, so Google's smartphone arm might as well get as much bang for its buck as possible. Alongside a recent post on the company's blog, Motorola provided an interactive Google Street View tour of its assembly plant in Fort Worth, Texas. Several things have been blurred out so don't expect to uncover any secrets while virtually perusing the plant, though it appears that the photographer managed to catch an argument taking place right near the center of the screen when the Street View image first loads. Beyond that, it's nice to get a rare inside look at where your smartphone was born. The Street View tour is embedded below.
