FinZeroX
It's not todays news, but still pretty much in. And here I'm talking about big-ass high-res monitors. And they're cheap! South Korea has many resellers that buy A- shipments (more defective/shipment) of LG and Samsung panels, which otherwise would end up as Apple Cinema monitors and such. So pretty much they're just as high-quality monitors as Apple's, but without the price tag. Nowadays, on top of being high-res, there are some monitors even better than the well-known manufacturer products. Less inputs, less input lag. And bypass PCBs that provide 120Hz overclocks. Price tag? 1000€ like Apple Cinema 60Hz? No. 600€ like Asus monitors? No. 400€ like cheapest available 27" monitors? No. You get a monitor even at a price tag of $300 / 240€! Yamakasi Catleap, Crossover 27Q, Qnix etc. Check them out, and buy one for your games. Better colors, better everything. IPS and PLS is modern day. 120Hz PLS 27" 1440p i.e. here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/QNIX-QX2710-LED-Evolution-ll-Glossy-27-2560x1440-SAMSUNG-PLS-27in-PC-Monitor-/221242191890?pt=AU_comp_monitor&hash=item33830ff012 Free shipment, 230€, FedEx delivery to your door Ask for more info. At the moment I got Crossover 27Q LED-P, now buying Qnix QX2710 when I get my wages.

FinZeroX
No thanks, I will stick with Asus and Samsung That's a good decision in terms of extended and secure warranty. The turnpoint is whether one wants to pay double price for that. After all, all the tech stuff in the monitor is corresponding with the stuff in your monitor, from panel to PCB. E: So to put it simple; I get the same quality as those who purchase their 27" 1440p monitors from a well-known retailer, but pay only half or even less.
