iPhone 5S Production
Were all the leaked parts, various reports, and the fact that Apple has a press conference scheduled for September 10th not enough to convince you a new iPhone is on the way? In that case, here's yet another piece of evidence: According to plugged-in research firm IHS iSuppli, Apple panel supplier Japan Display Inc. has shifted manufacturing away from the iPhone 5 and onto the next-generation model. "JDI is focusing on volumes for the next iPhone launch," iSuppli analyst Vinita Jakhanwal told CNET. "So capacity is consumed by smartphone production right now leaving little room for other [production] applications." Apple's next-generation iPhone 5S is expected to launch in mid-September with a faster processor, an upgraded camera and an embedded fingerprint scanner.lD3r5OaOD48
