Cant select mod

At the main menu, MODS button doesn't work for me. When I click it, it refreshes the game screen, and starts the music over from the beginning.

 

PK3 cleaner has been run with no change.

 

Any suggestions?

Are the mod folders still there? 

 

I just experimented, in Vista64,  by moving my et.exe to a folder in Documents.  The address in my desktop shortcut to et.exe was auto-changed to point to the new location.  I clicked on the shortcut and and ET ran ok and found its mods and files back in Program Files.

 

If the system can keep track of all that, then it can lose track of all that, too. 

 

Trouble with the Symbolic Links, or somesuch?

I will upload my ET.exe just rename it again to Et.exe, and as always run it as admin and winXP compatibility.

I have always had this problem. I just do as Dare has suggested and join any server and disconnect from server right away. This "enables" the mod button for me and i can switch mods w/o issues ( until i restart that is). Helpful when reviewing demos from different mods.
