well, for starters you can try opening command prompt and typing:

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

ipconfig /flushdns

also you might try a speed test (like http://speedtest.net)

lastly, close some of the other programs running in the background

I have found some nice tools from http://sysinternals.com (yes, I know this is now a microsoft website, but all the tools were created by Mark Russinovich and some were helped by Bryce Cogswell, both are not microsoft employees and then microsoft bought the site and tools from them):

TCPView - Shows all TCP connections on your computer, also gives you the option to close the connection or process running the connection

Process Explorer - Task manager with a really nice gui and some more nice information (like exactly what executables are running, what folder they are in, and and parameters that were used to launch them)

RAM is too cheap now a days. Have u ever though of upgrading ram?

1. More or less you can do this:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=515

2. Use config which i posted:

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=22&start=10

3. In the config change comhunkmegs to 128Mb.

4. Make sure while u run game u don't exceed 512 Mb ram usage or else it will use swap.

5. You main issue is your ping. I guess you need to fix your ping first.

Yea it is, I just upgraded from 2 GB ram to 6 GB (yes, on a 32-bit XP install, but I also have a 64-Bit Ubuntu Linux install that also has wolf installed, and that I hope to use more once I get the damn WIFI working, or get ethernet to my room) The 4GB only cost me $45 before the Mail-in-rebate and I think the MIR is about 20
