Wifestein Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 So, my dad has a mac computer, but he has videos on his computer that I need to edit. I need to transfer them to my external hard disk. (just a normal one, one that works for windows) I've used this 2 months ago: http://www.tuxera.com/products/tuxera-ntfs-for-mac/ Only tried the trial and it works. I didn't need to use it more than once so didn't buy it. But now I need to use it again, but I don't feel like buying it if I'm just going to use it only once. Anyone else knows a programm thing like that which allows me to transfer the videos to my external hard disk? Or will I have to pay for the full version? Quote
Heretic121 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Possible interesting link: http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/58721/alternative-to-tuxera-ntfs-and-macfuse Not sure if it's any use to you though Quote
UAdave Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Can you format the external? If so, format it with exFAT. It will work on both. 1 Quote
jaie Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 PS formatting it will wipe it clean, but that is the way to go Quote
