kentikins Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 (edited) Occasionally this would happen randomly. The only way to get rid of the crazy geometric shapes is to restart COD. Anyone know what the issue is? Computer info: Macbook pro 15" 2010 running OS X 10.8.4 edit: software update is for itunes Edited June 26, 2013 by kentikins Quote
LainTime/Bazingaa^_- Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Bye bye graphics card... Started with the same problem on my laptop and some weeks later it died. Quote
A. Pirate Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 You might want to make sure the GPU airports are clean. If it clogs, your GPU will overheat causing geometric errors. If that doesn't help, then it's probably just in its end days. Bummer. Quote
kentikins Posted June 26, 2013 Author Posted June 26, 2013 hmm, I'm not quite sure. It happened to me a year ago but after a complete restore it was fine. I'll give the fans and vent a good clean and see what happens. Quote

If that's not it, and you said a software reinstall fixed it last time, then it's probably software related. I'd suggest a few things, but it's a Mac and I know nothing about them. Quote

Thanks for the advice, lately my mac has been getting bit hot, that's probably the problem. Quote
