Well, there was a similar topic on forum about this error but I think this time it's different, since I still can't make ET to work.

I updated my graphics drivers, best I could find on Nvidia's site, although I had to install them using compatibility mode.

 

Computer specs:

OS: Windows 7 Professional

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.2ghz

RAM: 1 Gb

graphic card: Nvidia GeForce FX 5200 (256 mb)

Originally I wanted to do dual boot, but I accidentally screwed up XP, so I'm kinda stuck with this.

As far as I found on internet it's driver oriented, but under the same settings it worked flawlessly on XP, and I haven't found any exact solution that would apply to this case.

I did a clean ET install after changing OS, also the old installation that survived the change showed the exact same error.

 

I'd really appreciate help on this, or at least info if it's not possible to get it running again.

ehm u didnt install the driver ehm

well since the latest driver for this card is for vista and was released 3 years ago it just might not be compatible time to upgrade

Luckily for me that old driver seems to be good enough, ET is working again as it should.

Same problem on laptop,what install or update drivers? or download
