The multiverse thing sounds like a good idea.

I'm gonna throw this out there:

 

What about a survival mode world that resets with a new seed regularly,

and another permanent one?

After a while, when you have tons of everything, it starts to get a bit old.

Well, anyone can start over from scratch in survival without a world reset, plus, it might ruin new players homes, etc. Some people love to build massive things in survival.
