I just watched the third episode, where two detectives investigated a student at "Faber College" in Vancouver.

 

I immediately thought of the move, "Animal House".

 

Google finds no such college in Canada, but there are pen- and snowshoe-makers by that name there.

 

This is an odd tie-in for a dramatic Sci-Fi series, or is it a way to gain attention and buzz for a new show?
