School's armed guard accidentally leaves handgun in the bathroom

This is the end of this for me so I will finish with this:

If you point a weapon at someone today, for any reason, you best be ready to pull the trigger. Bad guys and kids today will make you pull it.

I have pulled my weapon on someone once. I had to put a shot at his feet to show him I meant to kill him. If I hadn't, he would have kept coming at me.

The End

Jeez. What haven't you done?

only once

at that point i'd rather have a knife

What kind of gun are you using? They don't break after one hit, just saying :P

I'm saying he better be dead or you might not get another hit

I think if you hit someone with a gun they'll probably be winded at the very least or even knocked out if you hit them in the right place, giving you time to A) knock him out (helps if you know some martial art) B) call the cops if he's already KO'ed. Why would you kill someone if you can avoid it? Unless the guy bullied you and took your lunch money in high school.

and then get sued by him and pay for his lazy ass the rest of his worthless life? I'll pass :thanks . I was trained to apply the appropriate amount of force to mitigate the threat because I was fearful for my life. But anyway we have got way off topic on this one. It is nice to be able to have a debate with you and it not get ugly, thanks and cya around

I haven't run for public office. Hmmmmm ..... President Smoke has a nice ring to it.

Someone on here said the US has a high rate of crime....thats true. Because we have all the good shit here that's worth stealing.

Botswana doesn't have a high crime rate....because they don't have anything and half the population have had their arms cut off.

So if you don't want to live where there is crime...move to Botswana. Just saying, there is a solution for every problem.

You could move to that small town in Texas where it is mandatory to carry a weapon in the city limits. Everyone over the age of 18

must carry a weapon. Their crime is so low now, that they only have three officers. Even the drug dealers left town. True story. I read it on the internet so it must be true.

Excuse me sir. I've been to Botswana in july 2012 and it's a fairly well off country for Africa with the GDP per capita just 1,000 dollars less than in Russia. As everything is much cheaper there than in Russia, that's not bad at all. And it's a very peaceful country too. They resolve all their international problems via the Haig and consist mostly of 1 tribe (about 80% of the population) and therefore they're not really up for a civil war. Nice place. Lots of elephants and stuff.

It's the elephants that keep the crime rate low.

Exactly.

In Chobe National Park alone, there are 120,000 elephants! They eat all the bark off the trees so 2/3 of the trees there are dead. It's a sign of what will happen to criminals if they mess with the elephants. Their skin will be torn off and digested and they will be left to die in the scorching sun.
