Most of the time we use the AS to get more kills for ourselves to win the game, but, you can use the Airstrike to help your team win also.

This has to be a coordinated effort and set up properly to win, and mostly it doesn't work as good as it could. So here is how you do this.

The maps that work best are "Crash - Crossfire - Strike" so lets take Strike, and let's be OP FOR.

You start by getting several team mates together near the yellow car by the cafe area. Then call in an AS on the middle of the road right between the

two buildings on your left, just before the corner. As soon as the AS starts happening, sprint across the road diagonally to the building next to the bus.

Keep going thru that building into the sniper's nest building and out the top window, into the back section where the cars are located. As this is happening

have as many other guys as you can start attacking the stairwell house on the left (it forms the corner of the road). If you can get 4 or 5 guys into the back

of their spawn area, you have it licked.

As this is happening, you have to have some of the other guys leave the OPFOR spawn area open. The game will sense the presence of the team in the

Marine spawn area, and start having them spawn in the OPFOR area. Within 30 seconds or so, the game will shift the spawns completely and the marines

will be in the old opfor position. Now, if you want to have fun with this and you can get about 10 guys to follow thru, you can now do another AS in the cafe

court area, and send your team thru the other side of the map, into the back of the OPFOR original spawn area. This reverses the whole thing again.

We got so good at doing this we went to another server one time and desimated their team 4500 to 900 or so. They couldn't catch up with us because we

were catching them off guard all the time and we would do 2 or 3 AS in a row and just kept doing it over and over.

Now let me say this before you guys chime in with all the bad things about this. I know this is not fair, I know it takes auto select out, I know you have to

squad up and be on TS to get this done. But just once, once.... you should try this and see what it does.

In the map Crash, you can actually just keep going around in a big circle down the alley, across, back up thru the center, and then back around. The other

team doesnt stand a chance once that scenario starts because the AS just keep coming. It takes 8 to 10 good shooters to make it happen.

Crossfire is such a large map that it takes a real effort to get it going, but once it is going, you can run around that map, across the road and around and

back thru over and over.

I would love, one day, to have the =F|A= on a server with 20 guys each on the sides and then start this. Decide the teams, then go. The first team to get

that first AS will usually win, unless someone figures out the stopgap to this. There is one good way to stop it but you have to be a good team.

Just thought I would write this on here and see what happens. It will never work on Server 3 with everyone going all over the place, but if you could.....

who knows.

Peace brothers and a better year for us all.

Interesting stuff and would be really useful in an organized match where 15 to 20 people are set for a scrimmage. We used to do this in Halo a good bit.
