Big Boobs Nurse Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Hello, Can i use a bind to make condump ? Quote
AnG3L Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I don't think http://fearless-assassins.com/tutorials/article/128-wolfenstein-enemy-territory-condump-console-command-condump-filenametxt/ Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted December 28, 2012 Clan Friend Posted December 28, 2012 why not, but you could also seta logfile "1" and just look at etconsole.log Quote
Unknown Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 yes u can, but let me show you sth for example !fing bigboobsnurse then u click condump bind, and u got it in files, but what i suggest is /condump bigboobsnurse.txt and i exactly know what name of file i would be looking for then. Quote
Big Boobs Nurse Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Oh yes its work, i added bind F10 "condump consol.txt" in my cfg. but don't work if the consol is open (like autoscreenshot) it's normal or just me ? @SunLight: it looks complicated Thanks you Quote
jaie Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 logfile doesn't looknice cause logs will show colour codes ^ and you will lose the info when you restart et, I think . I don't think you should bind it to a key as you will keep overwriting the same file and lose your previous condump. Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted December 28, 2012 Clan Friend Posted December 28, 2012 you can close the console then hit the condump key then if you condump the same command again and again (i.e. like some old etpro binds with /guids then wait n + condump) then it makes sense, otherwise maybe it's better to type it every time, after all I don't think you are condumping all the time... As regards logs and color codes, you can still search-replace them, especially if you have an editor with regular expressions it's quite fast Quote
