COD4 Help

I bought COD4 for PC. I tried playing online, and saw there were only like 7 or 9 servers. I didn't see any FA's servers. Any help ?

Here you can find the ip addresses for our cod4 servers. You can click on "add favorite" and put the ipaddress there.

have you tried playing with the search filter in the lobby at all? I don't have COD4 in front of me and I forget if this game has it, but you may see a NAT type listed. This is hopefully open or moderate. If its Strict that may limit your games quite a bit.

nope, all filters are off, all servers and all types enabled.

 

**Also if this doesn't work i'm also downloading the 1.7 patch.. i'm not sure if i have the game patched.. maybe thats why

To add an IP directly if you havent figured it out yet you go to Favorites - Add Favorite or Add New Server (cant remember) - Type in IP - OK. Should show up on your favorites then.

 

I think if you bought the physical disc then the game should either come on 1.4 or 1.6. Mine came on 1.4 when I bought it a couple of years ago. When the game boots up it shows the version in the bottom right corner in the main menu of multiplayer. I would check that and patch up to 1.6 if it is not already and then play Abner and move to the better 1.7 with us

Just a little hint in advance before your "friend" decides to install a cheat for CoD4 as well. Be aware that both we and PB ban cheaters on CoD4. And if you're lucky enough to play on one of our PBBans streaming servers, you'll get a global ban as an extra little gift. CoD4 is still supported by PB after all.

yeah, Ik, not planning to cheat anymore. I will never cheat on a COD series.
