vke
I'm hoping some of you tech savvy people here will have any info on a auto-loading photo/film scanner. I just scanned 150 photos on a flatbed scanner and it took.... 6 hours My friend and I recently started a business converting photographs, film and VCR tapes to digital. If its gonna take me 897459273409857 hours to do 2k photos (which is the standard package) I need to pick a new career
wreck
reducing the dpi and the size of the portion of the bed you're scanning would help the speed quite a bit
vke
I have the dpi at 72, anything lower and it looks like garbage. I did discover i can scan 4 photos at once thought. That should speed things up quite a bit.

Bi0s
one idea is there is software out there that lets you scan more then 1 photo at a time one for example Instant Photo Scanner 1.0 a good scanner for what your trying to do might be the Epson Perfection V500 Photo Scanner hope this helps you out some

I've also been looking at the kodak s1220. It autofeeds up to 30 photos a minute @ 300 dpi. The only downside is the price, but i think i can get one on ebay. And if I dont end up using it alot I can always re-sell it.
