Flame Guards low fps

flame gauards is very restrictive ... corrdidors to narrow ... but that is a problem with having a 40+ server .........there are not many maps designed for huge numbers

 

slightly off topic ....have a go of the chrismas fuel dump ....its way better than current version

have you ever tried changing any of these settings during the map to see if your fps changes

 

seta r_lodCurveError "1000" ? lol wtf for a low cfg I think r_lodcurveerror 60 would do

seta r_subdivisions "1"//"128" r_subdivision 20 is faster

seta cg_shadows "0" I don't think a shadow is all that important during game, but you can keep it you want

seta cg_wolfparticles "0" better fps

I have tried settings those to their minimums and did not see any change in fps.

 

I have started a new topic for tweaking my config in the appropriate board.

Map also clears out the server from what ive seen . And soon as map starts theres loads of complaints about it .

Cortex. Not fps friendly but this tends to be a common trait among the larger maps. Trade original goldrush with one of the many modified versions since the original has such a low success rate for the allies. Garbage fueldump. Enjoy my 2 cents.
