Silverhawk Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 okay, title already says it but, a lot of times my screen freezes for 2-4 seconds and this happens in combat atleast for 15 battles peer match, so i hope that anyone knows how to prevent this from happening. (gamebooster does not work) Thanks. Quote
Papito Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 How about your ping when you're playing, it's high? Do you lag when you're 'in battle'? Quote
nrgy Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Do you know what Frames per second u have? Quote
Silverhawk Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) i do not have an FPS meter, but i do remember that in a game called gunz, i had 1000+ but i was able to set it stable on 250 fps by doing /fps 250 is there any command like that on wolf? How about your ping when you're playing, it's high? Do you lag when you're 'in battle'? Umh no, it's not an internet issue ping will remain between 30-60 Edited October 14, 2012 by Silverhawk Quote
nrgy Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 try opening the Console with the ~` key below the esc button. then type /com_maxfps 76 and hit Enter. Quote
Silverhawk Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 okay, i will try that when ever i log on, Thanks for the usefull solution Quote
nrgy Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) I am not sure there could be a number of different things that are wrong. Thats what I would start with though. Let me know if it helps or we can try some other commands. Edited October 14, 2012 by **₦ṜǤȲ=) Quote
Clan Friend SunLight Posted October 14, 2012 Clan Friend Posted October 14, 2012 (edited) if you want to know how many frames per secnod you get: - open the console (it should be the ~ character or anyway the key under esc) - /cg_drawfps 1 to show the 'lagometer' (useful to check if your connection to the server is steady) /cg_lagometer 1 if I were you the first thing I would check is if you have lags or drops in fps, it could be a network issue, or something using your cpu (in that case you should see your fps going down) edit: you can also try /pb_sleep 500 Edited October 14, 2012 by SunLight Quote
Silverhawk Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 the Mix of both of you responses have solved it, Thanks a LOT! Quote
