qwerty / azerty

I have a little problem sometimes when i play on the hardcore & silent recruiting server ( I don't know if it happens on other servers to )

 

I'm from belgium and here we use azerty keyboards instead of qwerty.

When i want to send a message in ET or type something in the console.

Half of the time i need to type like i have a qwerty.

but that can change sometimes during the game.

 

Anyone any idea what causes these switches between azerty and qwerty ?

becaus it's sometimes hard to find some of the symbols when it turns to qwerty

Pressing shift and alt at the same time usually triggers this switch. Let us know if that was the problem.

You can remove qwerty keyboards from the windows keyboard language list .

You can try to trigger it, if it will change then it will surely change back. In fact if this is the solution and you are waiting for it to "occur" you will only reproduce it without knowing.

Thanks for that hint, Joker. That explains why my keyboard went from qwertz (german) to qwerty some days ago while I was playing.
