I can pretty much see my own family in the first picture, parent's bed was way too big for the stairs in our house which we sold a year ago, so to get the bed upstairs my mother and her dad sawed the bed into two piece and it just fitted the width of the stairway, then glued and nailed it into one piece and stiched the cover. Well at least noone's life was in danger :)
