vke
Sitting around all day isn't necessarily the cause of the health problems. With a high protein, low calorie, and foods like whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies exercise isn't as important. You gain weight by consuming more calories than you burn. Ironically during a long gaming session you burn calories fairly quickly; but of course not as nearly as quickly as exercising. I have been eating 4-6 small meals each day, mostly fruits and veggies. I had blood work and other tests done, and my metabolic rate increased by 6% after 6 months. If you're a gamer that plays for 6+ hours a day, eats nothing but fast food and drinks coca cola all day; then yes you are going to have some problems.
