Custom maps downloading slow

My friend tries to download custom maps for call of duty 4 but when he downloads them they download stupidly slow at around 16 kbp/s. Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

From where he is downloading?

Sorry I managed to work it out with him it was because his folder was in the wrong place :/
