Hey guys, I have seen my friend use a mod for MW3 that you can go into and change you FOV to promod settings.

So I was wondering if any of you have seen anything that can do this or a way to change FOV on a normal server to promod FOV. I have tried to console FOV change but it was a big enough change.

So if any of you know of something that would maybe help me with what I'm looking for please leave a link below! :)

Even on promod fov can only be 60-80. Pro mod has a cvar called cg_fovscale, which puts a bit of fisheye effect on the screen making your fov seem larger.

Can I change the settings in the console so that I can get that look?

Maybe, i'm not sure if cg_fovscale is a cvar for regular cod4. I would try it, promod default is 1.125. Keep in mind that you will need to adjust your sensitivity by a little bit since the fovscale changes the screen enough to make it feel different.

I know on MW3 my friend has a download for it. And any server he joins he has the promod look. So idk.

cg_fovscale is cheat protected unless playing on a promod server, so you are out of luck. Sorry :(
