Auto balance?

There is seriously something wrong with the auto balance system.

 

This is normally what happens.

 

I join the game, teams seem somewhat even. Everything's fine until one team starts to stack better players. I'm usually not one of the betetr players. Auto balance kicks in and the WORST players are the ones moved? Usually to the worse team. So I get frustrated that I constantly get moved to the worst team, when I always choose auto assign. Most games I jump into, when I stay for a bit, I always see the best players normally group up on the same side every game. If they wind up on a team that they don't like, they switch to stack.

 

Is there a way to fix this? To make it shuffle teams instead of just moving the worst players?

 

Or is there a way to disable 'choose a team' for general public, so that people just get assigned to whatever team needs players?

 

I'm still new to CoD, but the system as I see it at the moment is very flawed. >.<

auto doesnt know whos its moving..doesnt move based on stats or what not cause unlike in ET, cod4 doesnt save XP (you can create different profiles and what not...anyways...

What happens is it move whoever came onto that team last..which is usually the guys that are weak and gettin raped by the other team. What i would do is if you see its unbalanced ask someone to switch, most of the time they will do it cause they are cool like that lol.

I would still let people choose lol, i mean its a game and thats why we have auto. Auto keeps teams somewhat even (not skill based even but even) and prevents teamstacking to a level lol.

What server are you playing on? I'm on the 1.7 servers (No Marty Recruiting and FA beginners), the few times i've asked, I get ignored. Maybe I'm not well known, or something, idk. >.<

 

I had no idea that's how CoD's auto-balance worked. It still seems a bit flawed. T_T Oh, well. Guess I'll suck it up!

I'm on all servers lol (both 1.6 and 1.7, try to make my rounds to all servers but i mainly am on 1.7, cause of all the hackers, unless they need me on 1.6). Ive said hi to you a few time but you ignored me lol

If you have any questions about cod just hit me up on xfire (sometimes im afk in game) or pm me any questions you got and ill usually ander em within a day.

 

And yeh I know what ya mean about auto but meh we work with what we got.

Have you?! Sorry >.< When I play FPS games I kind of tunnel vision on killing and miss chat. Usually on ET I just hit ~ to see anything I've missed, but it seems I can't see logged chat on CoD xD

 

And for sure I'll add you to Xfire! I wanna ask how to work both 1.6 and 1.7 so I can switch between them. Tried joining adnerdog today and it told me it was 1.6 and I had no idea how to downgrade.

np lol. also yeh you need a patch selector to switch to abner and you can see chat logs. just hit shift and ~ at the same time (then use scroll or the upwards arrow key to scroll up) and you can see the log chats for a while back...its not like in ET where you can see it all! Just the last 5 or so mins on the server.
