I was looking into buying MW3, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to run it or not. I can play some new releases, like F3AR and Duke Nukem Forever, but I've also had issues with games like GTA4. >.<

I have a laptop currently with the following:

4g ram

500mb hd

Nvidia gforce GT 420M (As well as intel HD)

i3 (m380 @2.53 GHz)

Would this be sufficient, or am I out of luck?

your gpu is a bit weak, but mw3 isnt exactly a graphically demanding game so yes you should be able to run it on low-mid settings

Hrm. Guess I'll have to test it. I can play black ops with little problems, an occasional stutter once in a while.

Thank you for the replies. ^.^

Try that link above...

I do use that site, but it's hit or miss with quite a few games lol

Like Fear 3, it says I barely meet recommended requirements, but I've beaten the game twice on the highest settings without any frame rate drops. It also says I pass Black Ops by a long shot, yet at some points I do have the odd stutter or two. Same with GTA4, it says I can play it no problem, yet the game stutters really bad, even with everything on lowest settings.

For MW3 It shows that I leave min requirements in the dust, but I won't really know until I buy it and test it out. ^.^

black ops requires more power than mw3.
