open up your mp config and try changing this

r_rendererPreference "Shader model 2.0"

or

r_rendererPreference "2"

wow i forgot i posted this thread. stuuuuupid question....

 

whats mp config and how do i open it? is it like console on W:ET?

i couldnt find the .cfg! it should be right in that last folder huh??? hmmmmm

 

ive got

 

Program files/Steam/Steamapps/common/call of duty black ops/

 

then

 

main, redist, and zone folders. i found it in none of these

 

 

:(

 

i do havbe a Blackopsmp application but i cannot open it

just open it in wordpad

I dont have a "players" folder :(

 

Ive checked every files in every folder in the Steam folder. found no cfg files. this sucks

try opening black ops, go to menu, then quit and it should be there.

EDIT: oh wait i forgot you cant open it
