The 2nd one isn't totally fail ^^ Rain can't wash ur car whereas a water jet is rather powerful to wash it. Just do it with the sun xD

Actually I have done the 2nd one. Trip to the coast in a storm (to watch it) came home and the car was covered with salt. When the storm hit my town the next day I went and sprayed it off, to make sure all the salt washed off. To Be honest though it wasnt a downpour, like that guy is in, or I wouldnt have bothered.
