medic will you plss help me with cfg my specs are not as nice.... but here is what i have to work with

 

internet:broadband cable

Manufacturer:

System manufacturer

Processor:

AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0GHz

resolution: 1024*768[ but i can go higher than that]plss tell me what you recommend

 

i would like a nice higher fps with say medium detail..... thanks thanks

Not sure if I am just being silly, but has the crosshair moved downwards on the screen a bit? It just seems a bit... wrong.

 

there are cvar to move crosshair up/down and left /right, in console, type /cg_crosshairY and see if it is 0 (default setting), if not type /cg_crosshairY 0, should move it back to center.

yes tonka but i didnt change that in his config lol :D

well, you might not have, but sounds like his crosshairY is not zero for some reason, just thought he could check if its 0 , just seen that cvar on the antman website you give me and remembered seeing his problem of his crosshair, so thought it might help :hi

Your computer is more than adequate to play ET at a high graphics setting. It's better than many people here have.

 

You wrote that you are using a wireless router. That can cause big problems. I used to play ET over a LAN router and it would always get laggy and spiky. That was with ethernet cables. So, you may have similar if not worse problems with a wireless router depending on your network connection. If you can plug your line from the internet company directly to your NIC card you may see a performance boost.
