medic will you plss help me with cfg my specs are not as nice.... but here is what i have to work with

Not sure if I am just being silly, but has the crosshair moved downwards on the screen a bit? It just seems a bit... wrong.

 

there are cvar to move crosshair up/down and left /right, in console, type /cg_crosshairY and see if it is 0 (default setting), if not type /cg_crosshairY 0, should move it back to center.

well, you might not have, but sounds like his crosshairY is not zero for some reason, just thought he could check if its 0 , just seen that cvar on the antman website you give me and remembered seeing his problem of his crosshair, so thought it might help

Your computer is more than adequate to play ET at a high graphics setting. It's better than many people here have.

 

You wrote that you are using a wireless router. That can cause big problems. I used to play ET over a LAN router and it would always get laggy and spiky. That was with ethernet cables. So, you may have similar if not worse problems with a wireless router depending on your network connection. If you can plug your line from the internet company directly to your NIC card you may see a performance boost.
