Applauds cfg!

Well due to "popular" request, here is my cfg file for ET!(jaymod)

 

This cfg was based on my ETpro-mod cfg in which I tweaked a few commands to make it perfect for jaymod play (since hitboxes/everything is different in jaymod especially on different servers, but lets not get into details about that..)

 

I've been using the cfg for about 3 months now and I plan on to continue using it, maybe make a few changes here and there if I ever feel out of balance.[mostly sensitivity and video settings(r_ commands)]

 

If you want to know how to install the cfg there are multiple guides on google or just ask around on the forums!

(CAUTION:USE AT YOUR OWN RISK; I'm going to assume you know what you're doing when exec'ing the cfg)

 

PS: Don't forget to back-up your own cfg either copying the file or doing /writeconfig (INSERTnamehere) in-game just to be safe; if you don't like it that is.

 

PSS: Cfg's don't make you "godlike", however they do give an edge towards game-play, and It should be noted that if you were make your own cfg for your own computer specs you would be doing yourself a huge favor!

EDIT: Also some people may inquire about my mouse settings as well so:

 

here they are for ET (I change them all the time lol)

 

-800 DPI - ET Shooting/pistols(I change the dpi in increments of 100 sometimes if I feel off (I always change my sens ingame too :/ )

 

-1800 DPI - Sniping in ET(I dont use any bogus sniping scripts or anything like that)

 

Logitech g500 mouse

-Use native OS checked

-Enable angle snapping unchecked

-sens in drivers is 5/10

-acceleration is at 0

-polling rate is 1000hz(almost 1:1 input if i remember correctly so no mouse lag)

 

windows is 6/11 (pointer enhanced checked)

 

I also use the windows 7 mousefix from Mark's mouse fix pack (google it if you don't know what I mean I don't have a link handy at the moment)

 

PS: THESE ARE only personal preferences, if you're comfortable with what you have then why change it!

It'll only change the ingame settings, everything outside of et will be manual(like windows/driver mouse settings/sensitivities) (ET Mouse sensitivity)

Is axis and allies start time bind is allowed in NQ!? that is if i know when enemy start from spawn.( spawn time recorder)
