Zavion Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Hmmm... I love horror as well. Some of these are foreign with English subtitles, but who cares, they are great none the less. Audition, [REC] (Quarantine is the American remake but REC is way better), Descent, 30 Days of Night, Let The Right One In, Martyrs, Eden Lake, High Tension (Best head crushing scene ever filmed)... Check any of these out if you have not yet. Quote
Zavion Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Aslo, if you like Psychological thrillers like Donnie Darko, then you must check out the movie "ink." ink is a very low budget thriller that was released in late 2009 and filmed in Denver Colorado. It was written, directed and scored by Jamin Winans and produced by his wife. What makes it stand out? Ink quickly became the most downloaded (pirated) movie at the time with over 500,000 downloads. Jamin Winans was so estatic that he agreed that the movie should be distributed for free and that it was ok to download as he owned all of the rights. All he asked was you make at least a $1 donation on his website. Because of this, the movie was never picked up by the major studios as they claim Mr. Winans supported piracy. FU Hollywood! You can now also buy the DVD in which Jamin Winans personally autographs each and every one sold. Even more interesting Winnans dropped out of film school to make movies kind of like Bill Gates and Mark Zuchenberg dropped out of school to pursue their goals Check out the trailer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBGeErufQdY Quote
RoosterCogburn Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I just watched one last week that was one of the scarier movies I've seen in a couple years. Quote
Krzys Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 You should watch "One missed Call". That's great horror Quote
GraveDigger Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 this is an old movie but is scary and its somewhat of a classic. Its called Phantasm. I watched tit as a kid and it scared the living daylights outta me. The special effects arent the best but keep in mind the age of the movie. Its worth watching though if you are a fan of horror flicks. http://youtu.be/88Orp1DcA0w Quote
