Someone told me this recipe yesterday, since I love french onion soup I thought I would share.

Tinfoil

1 vidalia onion

mozzerela cheese shredded

1/2 a beef flavoured cube

1 ounce of red wine

Make a teardrop shape out of the tinfoil, peel and place the whole onion in the foil, drop in the beef cube red wine and a handful of cheese. Tightly wrap the foil bag and place it on the bbq for about 45 min, it will steam enough to make it's own soup. Open the bag and dump into a bowl and mash the onion and eat.

Toast some garlic bread on the grill as well to have on the side.

Going to try this on the weekend. it would be a great camping meal.

Didn't turn out too bad, I think I needed to add more liquid. I would add about a half a cup of beer for liquid or it is just onion and cheese which sticks to the tinfoil.
