=FIA=Chaotic Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Some years ago in New York, there was a man who changed the 'Jr.' to '2.0' On his son's name. I wonder if Facebook had a Dislike button and this particular couple had twins, would they name the other Daughter 'Dislike?' Quote
Post(?)Organic Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Why not? People are free to name their babies the way they want to. What is making me losing my faith in humanity is people who keep judging others, they'd rather take a look at themselves before... My name is Marianne, and it's a whole symbolic name in France, it symbolizes Revolutions, wars, democratie and Republic. And I'm proud of wearing that name. I hope the baby named Facebook will become a proud man too, that he will honor his nation as his parents wished he would and that it will be a start of something new for history. Yes but your name is actually something sensible, not something redonkulous that will cause a child torment, and imagine how difficult it would be for someone to express feeling for the kid "I really like Like!" Seaside Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I don't see what's wrong with the name Like. Maybe because my native lanuguage is French, and if someone were named Like in my country, no one would say anything, or would make fun of him because of his name. Like = Aime in France, and there are already persons named Aime here or Aimée, so it doesnt shock me at all... But maybe it's another mentality. I'm already used to see any kind of names... and i think that is great. Quote
