Nope ... i disgaree. i am not a christian, but ehh we was a puppet for higher levels ( not god ^^ ) he also was just a politican in my eyes.

Of course he is a politician, he is the head of state of the Vatican.

 

 

Further more, I rather stay out of this discussion. Although he has done good things, I mainly recall the moments in which he has done (said) things which are against my point of view. But that is rather my view on many religions... Good to see that people do not forget what a good pope he was :)

I'm not christian, nor do I believe in any higher power. Until I see it for myself.

I would be more inclined to support his beautification if he had taken action against the priests who molested thousands of children worldwide during his time as head of the Catholic Church. Huge black mark against him.

 

Other than that he was a pretty good pope. Very inspirational leader. Helped fight Communism. He helped hide Jews in Poland during WWII while the future Pope Benedict was doing his military duty as an anti-aircraft gunner in the German military.
