HannahG
I love the fallout series. I have never played until semi-recently, my roommate has had the group of the first three games, 1, 2, and tactics, sitting around for ages, and then Fallout 3 came out, and he added that to the collection, never knew a ton about them, but then he got very excited when they were announcing New Vegas, I gave 1 a shot, and thought "GAY!" So he had me play 3, I loved it, to the point I actually forced myself to suffer through the horrible graphics of 1, 2 AND tactics just to learn more of the story line, followed by myself REPLAYING 3. And then New Vegas. I'm absolutely in love with that world now. Here's the question for the lovers : Where do you think you want the next game to take place? Specific Vault? Specific City? What I would like, is a few more additional years into the future, people are really rebuilding, maybe using steam power since power plants are mostly inoperable aside from the hoover, so, maybe somewhere in the east. Maybe get some flying machines & such again. Would be cool to have some form of transportation other than hustle hustle, although I'd rather have hustle hustle than a car where you cover the map in 5 minutes. OR, this would be cool also.... Somewhere OTHER than America... Maybe learn what happened in China? That would be fun to play and learn.
FiveMagic
Easy, Canada! Somewhere close to the Rockies
HannahG
Yeah, Canada would be cool, buuuut, it was annexed by America. Also, politics and such aside, Canada & the US are pretty similar. Where in Canada though? I've not heard canada mentioned much aside from being annexed. Reason I thought China was because they were the main aggressors. FiveMagic
Although Canada and the States are connected they are very different landscapes, even the rockies we share look different. I was thinking somewhere like LongView Alberta because it's hilly, prairie to the west and the Rockies to the east (very close which would be cool to explore, find mines, raid camps ect) But to keep it intresting you would have to make up some towns and throw them into the world because... It's Canada, not very many cities are cluttered. Or the Queen charlotte islands (with fictional towns again) Just because it looks ancent (Ice age never hit it) plus the coast + mountains across the island. Or one near Toronto, or another major city. Have some in the ruins of said city, and some in suburbs or surrounding it, like Washington in Fallout 3? If it's islands that nobody lives on though people wouldn't really be able to get there post apocalypse. Hmmm...I wish you had more cluttered cities to pick from
FiveMagic
Jeez i said they could make some up : P
HannahG
Hmmm, I suppose. Megaton was made up and that city was cool. I would like to see more underground cities. Like in subways, sewers, just underground in general. (Vaults do not count) Does Canada have a lot of subways and stuff? (I don't know only visited Toronto (1 time) and Niagara Falls (2 time). FiveMagic
Very few cities have "subway" in Canada, but Transit on the other hand... Legendary lol
vke
It would be cool for the next fallout to be in Denver or Salt Lake City Could have some epic scenery, plus there are rural areas pretty close by for the gay new vegas "walk for an hour to get to the mission" style of fallout. Vault 87 or 112 would be pretty cool settings as well, imagine playing as a super mutant

They stated they want to make it more and more survival based, and in a Q&A prior to release of NV they said no you wouldn't play anything other than humans, or possibly human-similarity. They didn't answer about ghouls however. And they did say the next game would be FOO (Fallout Online) followed by Fallout 4. (NV didn't count as 4 apparently, lol). How would it be for scenery though? (Remember, post nukes, no trees really) Is there lots of mountains though?

Scenery would be gorgeous, there are a ton of small rivers, waterfalls, lakes. Plus unbeatable skyline, with cool clouds and mountains

Haroldish type things. Where maybe some parts have greenery, or maybe a vault used their G.E.C.K. Would be a nice change from what we've gotten, and then have a main city that's destroyed with a few little towns.
Post(?)Organic
I'd like it to maybe be set in Russia, post-apocalyptic Moscow would be freaking awesome

St.Petersberg is cool also! Would be a badass setting. Only thing that I don't know is, what did Russia even do in the war? And which side were they on? (I'd assume China?)
