Ok, I'm new to an Android Phone but was curious about some handy apps.

 

I have found PDA Net which allows you to tether your phone for free as apposed to paying for your carrier's tethering service.

 

What other "apps" out there are must haves, and why?

yes, angry birds rock :D hmmm youtube mate is a good thing too. allows u to dl youtubevids and mp3s on ur droid. hmmm check the market :) there are alot of usefull things.

Don't know which phone you bought, but i have a Captivate w/ att (mofos still on 2.1 firm).

Tried out couple of Froyo roms, and they are much smoother than factory firm..

 

I'm still surfing around as I just got my android last week. :)
