Cant plat ET! please helo

Ok so I just redownloaded ET because I havent played it in awhile, but I am having problems downloading all these new mods that are required like jaymodzzzz and all this crazy stuff lol. So basically anytime I click on any map for anyones game to play it nothing will download. It still start to download then the download will stop and I will hear the music that plays when your on the home screen. Can anyone please help me!?!? im so frustrated I just want to play ET!

Ok installed that, but now im getting some kinda "pure fail"

 

And still gettting same error where it starts the download and then just stops it for no reason and I hear the music from the home screen....

my cousin had this problem.

Just do /reconnect if ur dl is playing up with the time remaining or mbs dled.

Ive tried this before. Still same problem. The download will just repeat itself.

hmm now i get what you mean,i get this sometimes very rarely.run et as admin,disable firewall.

Hope this helps.

 

P.s for me this problem would go away on its own.

Exit ET and restart it as administrator.

How do I run it as administrator? Its my own computer and Im the only user setup on this computer. I should be admin already.
