Fireteam - Icon

Hey guys,

 

Since recently(I reinstalled my game) I can't see the icon (above the heads) of my fireteam members.

I tried this:

 

set showteam "selectbuddy -2; set nextteamtoggle vstr hideteam; echo ^1Team Highlighted^7!!!"

set hideteam "selectbuddy -1; set nextteamtoggle vstr showteam; echo ^1Team icons hidden^7!!!"

set nextteamtoggle "vstr showteam"

bind F10 "vstr nextteamtoggle"

 

But it doesn't work (btw: I'm using this bind for over a year now, and before it worked perfectly).

 

I also tried to google it, but i can't find it.

 

So can anyone help me pls?

On jaymod dare(he told me) i think you go to esc>Options>View> Then in crosshair the 4th one down, if thats not enabled then theres something else idk about.

What do you mean it doesn't work? Does it not display the icons or does it not remove the icons or both?

 

/selectbuddy -2 should definitely work no matter which mod, but I'm not sure if /selectbuddy -1 will work on every mod.

 

Btw, this is probably a simpler way to use the commands:

 

bind F3 "ready; selectbuddy -2"

bind F4 "notready; selectbuddy -1"

=> this normally worked. I used it over more than a year now.

But a few days ago, I reinstalled my game. As a consequence this bind doesn't work anymore.

What do I mean with it doesn't work anymore: I can't see any icon displayed above any fireteam member.

 

@ohurcool, nah..I like having it in a toggle, instead of having two seperate binds.

Noone has an idea, how to fix it?

Btw: On NoQuarter everythins is fine (meaning: I can see the overhead Icons)

Eventu

 

Eventually I fixed it myself.

I just copied my NQ (which FireteamIcons are working) etconsole file.

And paste it in my Jaymod file.

 

It will seems that you just intsalled your game again when you play on a Jaymod server.

So just load the cfg and do /vid_restart

 

And everything is back normal and above all the fireteamIcons are working again.
