I’m currently in the market for a studio quality microphone to recording mic. My previous Blue Yeti has developed an issue where it significantly deepens my voice, and after sending it in for repair, I was quoted a cost that makes replacement the more practical option.

I primarily use my microphone for recording both guitar and vocals. I’ve been considering the Shure MV7+ but would appreciate any recommendations, particularly from those with experience in recording musical vocals.

The Shure MV7+ is a great Idea.  OR a Sennheiser MD 421-II  they are pricey but one of my friends say they love it.

Do you have an audio interface with preamps or external preamps that you will be using with the mic? If so that opens a some more options near that price range. If you are going for an all in one type of USB mic that doesn’t need a preamp, I agree that the MV7 is a solid choice.

Butters friend is right on the 421’s. Super solid mic that works on a ton of stuff. I have a pair that basically lives on my toms.
