When this lag starts can you open cmd assuming your windows and do this command and give me the results pathping -n -q 20 -p 500 jay1.clan-fa.com 

 

if your are another OS just let me know

Im confused we should use -4 if your asking for how to force ipv4

Hey HipKat. I was having similar issues seemingly randomly. I have a 1gig connection too and speed tests would always come back at nearly max speeds on my wired connection. I have started to reset my router every morning and both the occasional work connection issue and random lag on issues on Jay 1 seem to be resolved. It might be totally unrelated but the regular restarts haven’t been hurting at the very least.

 

RNGesus will surely be more help then my try turning it off and on again input, but all I know is I haven’t been having issues. I use quantum fiber (aka century link) btw and have read various folks online having similar issues and recommended restarting the router regularly 🤷
