I am trying to install Linux on a Dell Precision 3551 notebook in dual boot with Windows 11, but I keep experiencing installation crashes or other errors that I am trying to resolve with the help of AI. Can anyone recommend a version of Linux that works properly with this hardware? I have tried Linux Mint 22.2, but the installation does not complete. Which version could I try?

Also linux mint disables snap which is the easiest method of install Id recommend enabling snap store

sudo rm /etc/apt/preferences.d/nosnap.pref

sudo apt update

sudo apt install snapd

sudo systemctl enable --now snapd

sudo snap install etlegacy

and done :)

Dual boots often have issues .The best way is to install Linux on its own drive
