Ban for VPN/Proxy

Hello!

 

Tried to join your servers tonight. I have played many times/years but today got a message saying :

You are not banned but the VPN is.

When You disable it You will be able to get in.

Ok. But i have not changed anything on my computer and played a few days ago and plenty of times before, how come its banned now and why? And how do i turn it of? Never done it.

I meant just turn the VPN You are using off, and it will work.

I play games, i have never been in to computers..... I have no idea if i use VPN. I have a windows 11 computer and play ET sometimes. Not changed anything. Not changed my router or anything for years. 

Dont even know what VPN is.... 😬

So. I dont know if i use VPN and cant turn anything i dont know of OFF.

What server was that?  I can try to see what IP you had used in the past.  

 

AND what player name did you use?  "KillerKing" records on TrackBase show last used years ago, so that does not tell me which server you tried to join recently. 

 

ADD #2 : It looks like you have been a "forum member" for a long time!  "Joined: June 11, 2012". 😄  You had last posted in 2013 for other technical issues, including one when trying to join NQ#1.

Yes I know. I'm not a real "forum member". I like to play and your servers are great. 2 issues in 12 years are great stats for the servers.😉

You ARE a "real forum member", you are just not an "FA clan member", that is all.  😄

 

That space in your name made all the difference on TrackBase, which shows your name as 99% playing on FA=NQ#1 :

TraceBase shows that your name tried to play on " [UJE]Clan Teamplay " some 9 hours ago, but had 0 playing time and a 999 ping.  Have you played with any other names?

 

Have you been able to join any servers at all recently?

Had som old friends on that server but not been able to play there for some reason. Been so for a long time.

Other then that I only play on your servers.

And has never been a problem. Could try later today and try a few and see.

Well, this is getting "interesting'!   

 

You can restart your computer and restart your gateway/modem, just for "luck".  That should not work, but it is a simple thing to do.  😄 

 

Getting a "proxy-ban" on FA servers and a long-time inability to join UJE servers should not be related, but ...  

 

I will have to collect the information that I have on your problem and present it an FA Clan Founder, who may be able to look at our servers' logs and see something.

If you have an antivirus software installed check if it doesn't have build in VPN and try to turn it off
