My old PC died I lost all my xp

My old PC died I lost all my xp, is there anyway to my XP back? been playing the FA NQ server for a few years now the name is The Fox. 

I will keep playing either way i was just wondering.

Sorry to hear that Your old PC died.

The best way to get Your xp back would be to get Your previous etkey back if it is possible but since Your PC died i assume it is not?

 

I am not sure if there is another option to manually reset Your xp to previous amount on NQ, but maybe somebody else will know for sure.

If your PC is dead (powersupply, mainboard etc.),

your harddrive or your ssd might be alive.

Just open the case and rescue your hardisk or ssd.

Then buy an usb-adapter that fits (Amazon) and

plug it in in your new PC.

The folder you should search for is:

...\ET\etmain

There is a file called "etkey".

Copy it to your new installed RTCW:ET in the folder ...\ET\etmain .

Also, when you find and copy your old "etkey" file, also copy it to a place off of your computer, such as a USB stick, a local backup device or an online backup service.

We can only do that on Silent-mod servers AND only when the problem is a server-error AND only when the victim has a screenshot of their previous XP.

 

Even on Silent mod, we don't restore XP lost because of 'busted computers' and only for the GUID stored on the server.  

 

Even the admins, including the Managers, cannot get their old XP restored to a new GUID on a new computer.  This is one of the rules that ALL of us have to follow.
